SPRAY TANNING
Spray tanning is a quick, healthy and luxurious way to have a glowing body with a completely natural-looking tan. Here at Younique Skin Clinic we use a fine mist applicator to spritz your body in a high-quality tanning product.
The sun’s UV rays can cause skin cancer, dry out your skin and speed up the ageing process. Spray tanning is a safe and healthy way to achieve a natural looking tan.
Our tanning solutions have added vitamins, antioxidants and hydrating oils, to treat the skin. It also enriches the skin with anti- ageing, hydrating and skin firming ingredients, leaving your skin smooth and replenished.
The formulas we use are made with natural ingredients and use certified natural DHA. They are free from alcohol, parabens, petrochemicals and animal cruelty.
Tanning Tips - Arrive freshly showered and exfoliated with no deodorants or moisturiser on and bring dark loose clothing .
- Ensure your skin is exfoliated and that you are make up, deodorant and moisturiser free.
- Bring loose dark clothing for after the tan.
- Wax or shave 24 hours prior.
- Allow for up to 15 minutes for your spray tan application appointment.
PRE-TAN
- Pat dry after your shower. Vigorous rubbing will exfoliate your skin and your tan will not last as long.
- Minimize exposure to exfoliates like beach sand
- Avoid soaps and cosmetics that contain parabens, salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide and alcohol.
- Moisturizing helps extend the life of your tan and it helps your tan to fade more evenly.
- Chlorine can also adversely affect the life of your tan.
- Moisturise at least once a day, starting after your first shower.
- Always wear sunscreen when out in the sun.
- Spray tans will last up to 10 days and fade evenly. Ask us about our tan after care products to further extend the life of your tan.
